Abstract

Article deals with the project "Li and Indico" of the Library of the Center for Youth and Adult Education - CEJA / JOSÉ WALTER, with the general objective of training students who approach and gain a taste for reading, as a pleasurable daily act and culture. The specific objectives are to encourage students to practice reading, make the library a pleasant and more visited space, as well as disseminate the most read books. The methodology of the process focuses on the following steps: the student is invited to know the library through small notices, so when he arrives at the library and makes the choice of reading is given an instrument to record the reason for the indication of reading, and later released along with the image of the book cover. 2018-2019 we had 45 readers committed to reading, and one educated read 21 books. The project has met its proposed objectives, readers and readers are the protagonists of their readings, and the library plays an important role in the acquisition of knowledge and training of readers in the school's curricular practice.
