THE USES OF MOBILE DEVICES IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION: INITIAL FINDINGS OF RESPONSIBLE AND INNOVATIVE ACTION-RESEARCH

Abstract

Mobile devices are increasingly present in the lives of young people and adults, since being connected to a network is fundamental in contemporary times, so the school needs to pay attention to this contemporary specificity. This work intends to present the initial actions of the Responsible and Innovative Research-Action - PARI, entitled "the use of mobile devices for the formation of subjects of Youth and Adult Education in the Territory of Identity of Sisal, Bahia, Brazil". Considerations about strategies such as diagnosis, interviews, conversation circles and workshops with teachers and students in the two nuclei that proposed to carry out the research, the municipalities of Araci and Valente, were presented. During the development of the research, the constant presence of cell phones in the rooms, and not in the classes, became evident; the lack of teacher training for the use of mobile devices; the need for pedagogical guidance for cell phones in classes; and the permanent effort by teachers to make cell phones pedagogically present at school.
