Education in/of field: challenges and perspectives

Abstract

This text is the result of reflections made in the Curricular Component Nucleus of Pedagogical Research and Practice II of the Pedagogy course of the Department of Education Campus XII, in the 2022.1 semester. Here we will bring some reflections about Education in/from the countryside, demarcating the importance of social movements in this struggle and that the capitalist system needs to be fought. It shows that Rural Education arises from the struggle of men and women in search of equality. It is also highlighted the importance of the curriculum in Education in/from the Field that values the knowledge and knowledge produced by the peasant people, in view of this perspective the school must organize its pedagogical practices so that it can offer a critical education to the subjects from the countryside, thus contributing so that they can develop their critical sense and from there, break with the great challenges that the capitalist system has been imposing on Rural Education.
