Abstract

This essay presents a reflection on the fundamentals of the world image. In this pretension, it discusses the structuring aspects of modern conceptions of the human being and of the truth, and highlights the domain of science as the guiding thread around which the structuring of the representation of the world lies, even when it, science, is not necessary. or even is rejected. The text An Age of the Image of the World, by the German philosopher Martin Heidegger, served as the main contribution to these reflections.
