Resumo

Homeopathy: the benefits for agroecological crops. Homeopathy in Agroecology is considered a holistic, simple and low-cost methodology for the production of food on an agroecological basis, empowering farmers in the search for an increasingly clean production and without the use of any product that comes from outside the agroecosystem. Homeopathy applied to plant production is accepted among Brazilian farmers who extend its use to animals or in their own families. Homeopathy is also an Ethnoscience capable of teaching the most efficient way of seeing the relationships between human beings and the environment, being pointed out as a tool for an effective agroecological transition. Many positive results can be found, but there is still a need for more scientific research to validate and optimize homeopathic practices, although this practice already stands out as a valuable tool for the future of agriculture sustentable.
